PT Energia Prima Nusantara

The “Company” was established on February 28, 2014. The Company is engaged in the supply of electric power in the generation, transmission, and distribution sectors as well as electricity sales.

At the end of 2021, the Company consolidated and restructured its subsidiaries in the energy sector under PT Bina Pertiwi (BP) part of the United Tractors (UT) group. Previously, Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA) owned 99.99% shares and PT Kalimantan Prima Persada (KPP) 0.001%. With this consolidation, the composition of the Company’s ownership shares changed to UT and PAMA’s ownership of 51% and 49%, respectively.

This process is carried out to improve efficiency and operational excellence in managing subsidiaries that are more focused and accelerate the development of new and renewable energy.

Initially, the Company had an integrated supply of electrical energy with businesses in the coal sector and supporting infrastructure, where the Company owned and operated the PAMA-1 mine-mouth power plant located in Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan.
PLTU PAMA-1 has been operating since 2018 by electrifying the Mining Cluster Improvement Program (MCIP) of the PAMA Group under the Electricity Business Area (“WUK”) scheme. In the EBT business, the Company has installed rooftop solar PV in the Astra group reaching 2.4 MWp, it is targeted that there will be an additional 15 MWp in 2022 and will increase in the following years.
