We are focused on green energy and committed to implementing ESG principles towards a sustainable business. The energy transition commitment will continue to be strengthened by developing new renewable energy sources that are available with abundant potential. In addition to increasing the capacity of new renewable energy projects, we also increase the strengthening of personnel competence, both now and in the future.

To start the development of new renewable energy, we began with the development and construction of PLTM Besai Kemu with total capacity of 7 MW located in Way Kanan Regency, Lampung since February 2021. On 8th January 2024, we finished the construction and has signed the Commercial Operational Date (COD) with PT PLN (Persero) and start the operation commercially.

However, we are also accelerating our portfolio development by acquiring 31.49% shares of PT Arkora Hydro to strengthen our clean energy business line. Dedicated to the development & operation of hydro power plants in Indonesia. Arkora Hydro goal are to accelerate renewable energy development in Indonesia through construction of small to medium run-of-river hydro power plants, particularly in remote areas with stable demand but insufficient power supply. There are several projects that have been operating under PT Arkora Hydro such as PLTM Cikopo 7.4 MW and PLTM Tomasa 10 MW, besides that there is another potential additional capacity of 200 MW which will be developed in the future.

Currently we also developing another two hydro power plants, PLTM Mangku Sosial with a capacity of 7.2 MW and PLTA Redelong with a capacity of 18 MW. Both projects are expected to start construction and operation in years ahead.
