Asep Iwan Gunawan

Director

Asep Iwan Gunawan was appointed as Director of PT Energia Prima Nusantara in 2022, with the position as Director of Supply Management & Information Technology.

Asep was born in Sumedang in 1975, earned a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the Bogor Agricultural Institute in 1997 and in 2019 managed to get a Masters degree in Management from the Business School of IPB University.

He currently also serves as President Director of PT Bina Pertiwi Energi since 2021, which is a subsidiary of PT Energia Prima Nusantara and is engaged in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) transmission business, substations, and other electrical infrastructure.

His experience in supply management began when he was appointed as an employee of PT United Tractors Tbk – Spare Parts Division in 1997 until 2015 with several positions in inventory, logistics, and marketing. In 2016, he was appointed as Operational Director of PT Andalan Multi Kencana, a subsidiary of PT United Tractors which at that time was engaged in trading of heavy equipment spare parts. In 2020, during the business restructuring process of several subsidiaries of PT United Tractors, he was asked to manage the operations of PT Bina Pertiwi Energi as General Manager.
